I do not try to dance better than anyone else. I only try to dance better than myself.
I assume those are your drawings. Wonderful. Do you sketch using a model of some sort or do you sketch from memory?
I usually try to use a reference and when I do it's from actual photographs of things that inspire me (cliché I know) but lately I have been doing more surrealistic things with art and I'm working on my first acrylic painting ever and it is of my perspective of a peacock. I could use a reference if I wanted to but it's hard because the image is coming from my head and not from something real so there's no picture out there that could give me exactly what I want and that's what makes art so individualized because nothing is ever exactly the same.
